Writing Lessons

Megan offers private writing lessons and manuscript consultations to writers of all ages online via Zoom. With personalized lesson plans and flexible scheduling, private lessons provide writers a chance to focus on their projects, expand their knowledge of their craft, and receive constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. Megan provides private lessons in all genres, including creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and hybrid forms. Through these lessons, students often draft and polish pieces that win regional and national awards, finish manuscripts for publication, and expand their reading and creative skills. 

Most students choose a 4-session package, meeting weekly or bi-weekly.

Megan also offers manuscript reviews in which she provides instructional, creative feedback to advance any draft. Manuscript reviews are billed per word and have a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks, depending on the length and complexity of the project.
